At Skovgaard Energy, we are passionate about the green transition – and our door is open to others who want to help unlock the possibilities.

Strong partnerships and relationships create synergies – and they are crucial for building a greener future. We place great emphasis on our connections with other partners and industries, as well as municipalities, neighbors, and NGOs. Because only together can we create a greener world with the speed and decisiveness that are needed.

Together with our project partners, we are taking a major step toward making Denmark a frontrunner in green energy production and storage.
The Power-to-Ammonia plant REDDAP was created through a partnership between Skovgaard Energy, Topsoe, and Vestas. REDDAP has received support from the Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Program (EUDP).
Skovgaard Energy is a key partner in the NH3 Spark project alongside DTU Construct, with Everllence leading the initiative. The NH3 Spark project is also supported by EUDP.

Since the 1990s, Northwest Jutland has driven the expansion of green energy in Denmark. With technology, knowledge, and resources, the region has made a significant contribution to the country’s green transition. Northwest Jutland is also the center of Smart Energy.
The Northwest Jutland collaboration, Smart Energy, consists of the municipalities of Lemvig, Struer, and Holstebro and is one of the key prerequisites for enabling not only Denmark but all of Europe to meet its ambitions for green transition and CO₂ reductions.
Smart Energy is a movement where the three municipalities of Northwest Jutland join forces with businesses to advance the green transition. It is also a concept and a vision of how we can use our resources wisely and optimally on the path toward a more climate-friendly future.

We have taken yet another ambitious step in the green transition by establishing a joint venture with Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation. The partnership will, among other things, produce sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), biogas, and biogenic CO₂ through the newly formed company North Sky A/S.
Sumitomo Corporation is one of the world’s largest trading and investment companies and, through its partnership with Skovgaard Energy, has chosen Northwest Jutland as the hub for developing the aviation fuel of the future.
The partnership is built on a shared ambition to accelerate sector coupling in the green transition. With Sumitomo Corporation’s long-term investment and global industrial network, combined with Skovgaard Energy’s agility and local roots, a strong alliance has been created.

Skovgaard Energy and the Lemvig branch of the Danish Society for Nature Conservation (DN) have, over the past years, built a close and strategic partnership focused on integrating biodiversity and nature considerations into the development of renewable energy projects in Lemvig Municipality and the surrounding area.
The collaboration began with the establishment of Climate Park Ramme, where DN Lemvig chose to engage constructively to ensure that the projects also delivered benefits for nature and biodiversity.
The partnership has been highlighted in national best-practice collections for solar park planning and is cited as an example of how green energy and biodiversity can be united in practice.
